Mohamed Owais Adam is well versed in Economics, Marketing, Social Media and Event Management. He is very passionate about blogging and loves exploring different cuisines. He never misses an opportunity to eat out at a restaurant. His other hobbies include debating, shopping and watching movies. Apart from this he is also a big cricket fan. He describes himself as a die-hard foodie, perfectionist, leader, determined, dedicated person and eager learner. He is proficient in English Writing/ Speaking Skills and likes interacting with people. He completed his 12th- ISC from Bishop Cotton Boys School with exemplary results where he was the Chief Editor of the Cottonian Journal, participated in numerous debates, Model United Nations (MUN) and also served as a prefect (Student Leader).

His love for food led to him starting a food blogging page in October 2015 that was recently featured in the Deccan Herald Newspaper and was ranked as one of the Top 10 in Bangalore on Zomato.

He has showcased his talents on various platforms ever since he entered the portals of SJCC. He is a part of the core organizing committees of different activities, programs and fests at college as well as a board member of different associations and clubs. He was a part of numerous teams that worked tirelessly for the success of International Seminar, Under 25 Summit, RotaMUN, Virtuoso, Marche, Ellipsis, Cipher, Chanakya (Inter College Business Fest), Nirmana (State Level Rsearch Seminar), Impuesto (GST City Level Seminar), Metamorphosis (B- Plan Workshop), and NEN Workshop to name a few. Along with being an amazing orator, he is also an extremely talented writer with an extensive vocabulary and a flair for words.

One of the things that really set him apart is his keen eye for opportunity and getting involved in whatever is happening around him. This resulted in him being appointed the Managing Editor of Fountainhead and he also played a major role in the restructure of the Josephite Business Club in his second year. Not one to rest on past laurels, he is currently the E-Cell Vice President and BBA Deputy Coordinator. He also bagged a summer internship at Goldman Sachs as an Operations Risk Analyst.  He has helped in many social causes through NSS and Rotaract Club. He is very outgoing and is always taking the initiative to do something new, and to do it with passion. In spite of his many roles and responsibilities, he always finds time to balance them with his academics. He is very particular about keeping deadlines and is a master at the art of prioritizing. As a friend, he never shies away from an opportunity to help, takes hospitality to new levels and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable.

Mohamed believes that Life is nothing without great food. In his words “An Expedition of exploring exquisite dishes is an exuberant, incredible and never ending gastronomical journey filled with wonderful memories to cherish. The joy of seeing culinary masterpieces is heavenly bliss. The tantalizing bites delight your palate and excite your taste buds. One can think well only if one’s belly is happy. Nothing is more sincere than the love for food.”
