NoodleHeads

Noodles is one of the favourite anytime and easy to cook hunger satisfying food by people of all ages. The return of Maggie to the Indian Market recently saw great enthusiasm and excitement. Whether you are a fan of noodles or not, you will certainly love this newly opened exuberant restaurant in Kammanahalli. The ambience is awesome. It takes you back to the 90’s  where cartoons were very popular and a great theme choice. The entire place- walls, gate and peppersalt containers is decorated with characters displaying different expressions. Hence the name- Noodle ‘Heads’. Oh! How I miss these animated shows that used to keep me engrossed as a kid. Light background music, open kitchen and rooftop terrace seating is the ‘icing on the cake’.  Are you are a person who seeks the right essence of both quantity (to fill your tummy) and quality (to delight your eyes)? Then visit places like these which are not hard to find and an immense joy to dine in.

People are always looking for innovation and thrill in the food they eat so restaurants try to keep unique names and add special elements to their dishes. Noodleheads is an example of how Chinese Cooking and international ingredients can be modified to satisfy Indian consumers. The Chicken Manchow Soup was sumptuous and splendid- easily the best I’ve had in months. The quantity is huge and sufficient for 3-4 people but serving Mocktails drink priced at ₹170 in a small ‘jam’ jar is a ridiculous idea. Roasted Thai Chicken was fantastic. The Chicken Satay served with peanut sauce was superb as well and can be improved slightly. Chilli Chicken with Bird Chilli tastes amazing.

My favourite item on the menu was the Noodleheads Special Rice that had a right mixture of exquisite stuff cooked to perfection and cheered me up as I cherished it. Malaysian flat Noodles are stupendous and remarkable. Service is excellent. However pricing is on the higher side. Desserts choice is limited and nothing exceptional or extraordinary that can leave you with a Happy Belly. A method or technique to make Nawabs and Mughals enjoy something as much as their kebabs and biryani would be to let them feast on these piquant and tantalizing dishes. I am a person who does not highly commend other types of cuisines. Surprisingly, a quintessential Chinese meal culminated in a brilliant amalgamation of wonderful flavours that thronged my palate.
